  1. Dear artists,

    COMPARTE ARTE ( SHARE ART) constitutes a selection, assembled on a non-profit basis, of professional artists among currently active painters, illustrators and sculptors, picked not out of their fame or recognition (despite some of them justly deserving both adjectives) but because of their knowledge of the trade, good taste and pictorial quality. I have endeavoured to keep a distance from present official art tendencies, such as the so called „emerging contemporary art“, which only stems -more often than not- out of fancy and excentricity, with no artistic value at all, thus misleading the enthusiastic individuals who are trying to get themselves closer to art.

    Quite the contrary, herein I attempt to put together a selection of works of the highest quality, both of figurative and expressionist trend and in many instances fusing with abstraction, an art in need of little if any explanation, which we simply like, because it moves us, an art which fits into our times and is performed by artists of our time…

    As of you, artists, you are included in this collection I look forward to keep increasing, with the highest possible quality, expecting you like it, you let me know your views*, and you share with your friends, so as to contribute to making this lately aggrieved good art be widely known.
